Mr. and Mrs. Millard Parker, Grand Rapids on Friday came ?? distinction of having been married for 50 years. Their golden wedding anniversary was celebrated last week when friends and relatives extended their congratulations and joined with the Parker’s in remembering the occasion. Millard Parker and Ida Beardsley Were married on July 3, 1886 in Neillsville, Wisconsin. They lived ????? ?n Wisconsin until 1914 when they moved to Deer River, Mr. Parker, who is a machinist and ??llwright, coming up here to in ?? the veneer plant machinery the ? Deer River Mill. In 1919 they came to Grand Rapids, Mr. Parker being employed in the local ??neer plant. In 1921 Mr. Parker began working at the local paper mill, retiring in 1927. He is now ??years old and for the past two years his health has not been good. Mrs. Parker is 69 years old and her health is remarkably good.
Mr. and Mrs. Parker have three sons, Clyde and Forrest are living at Grand Rapids and Harry is ?? Presently in Louisville, Kentucky. - Grand Rapids (Minn.) Herald-Review.
