Marie Eibergen who has been in Stevens Point the past few months is spending her vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Eibergen.
C. J. Brewer of the State Teacher College at Eau Claire spent Wednesday here on business.
Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Spry and family returned Sunday from a vacation trip to several places of interest in the state.
The Modern Priscillas enjoyed a picnic at Dr. Rath cottage on Friday afternoon.
Ward Walker of Stevens Pint spent Sunday with friends at the A. Eibergen home.
Emma Larson of River Falls and Eva Rosenberg of Fall Creek spent Monday here with friends.
Announcements have been received of the marriage on Tuesday, July 28th of Miss Ella Hansen to Stephen D. Macomber, both of New Lisbon. Mr. Macomber is the newly elected principal of the Granton schools. Mr. and Mrs. Macomber arrived in Granton on Tuesday and will be at home to their friends after August 15.
Fred B. Tompkins, Madison, called on friends in Granton Friday.
Harvey Ayres who is employed at Mondovi is visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ayres.
Katherine Thornton fell Monday and injured herself quite severely at the home of her niece, Mrs. J. M. Hart.
Quite a few of the farmers in this vicinity have taken their cattle to pasture lands in the towns of Washburn and Sherwood.
