Mrs. Robert Prochazka, Sr. passed away at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire, at 2:15 Monday morning, August 3, where she had been taken from medical treatment.
She was born in Podmoky, Bohemia, December 24, 1871, her maiden name being Marie Vesely.
In 1889 she came to Chicago and was married there to Robert Prochazka, in 1903. They lived in Chicago for six years and then moved to Hillsboro, Wisconsin, where Mr. Prochazka engaged in business until the family moved to Neillsville, July 7, 1916.
Mrs. Prochazka was a quiet home-loving woman and was much respected by all who came to know her. She was a good wife and mother and was devoted to the care of her home and family, and is greatly missed not only by them, but also by all her neighbors and friends.
She was a member of the Fraternal Society of Bohemian Ladies and Western Bohemian Brothers Society (G. C. B. J.).
She is survived by her husband and two sons, George and Robert Jr., also four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in Chicago, August 5, which was attended by many friends in that city and suburbs, also by Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lukas of Friendship, Wisconsin. Burial took place in the National Bohemian Cemetery.
