Quimby, Phillip (11 Sept. 1903 - 5 August 1936)

Phillip Quimby, 32-year-old Spencer man, died at St. Joseph’s Hospital, August 5 after a short illness. The young man was taken suddenly ill August 1 and removed to the hospital on Sunday morning. It is supposed that this illness resulted from adhesions from a series of major operations performed some years ago.

Funeral services were held on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Quimby home and at 3 p.m. at the Methodist Church. Burial will take place at Brownsdale, Minn. His parents, one brother, and one sister, survive.
