Henry Dahnerts Observe 50th Wedding Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dahnert of Neillsville celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m. at their home on Court Street.
Henry Dahnert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dahnert of Neillsville, and Gertrude Lillian Randall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Randall of Fond du Lac county, were married by the Rev. C. C. Hulbert in his home in Oakland (Fond du Lac county), October 1, 1919. Attendants were Ethel Dahnert Pedder of Los Angeles, Cal., and George Randall of Fond du Lac.
They lived in different areas before locating in Clark County, where they farmed for a number of years before moving to Neillsville 12 years ago. They are the parents of two children, Mrs. Lyle (Nelva) Prindle of Humbird, and Duane Dahnert of Richfield, Minn. They have seven grandchildren. Mr. Dahnert was born May 3, 1898, in Dane county, near Marshall. While a small child, he moved with his parents to Clark County. They settled on a farm four miles south of Neillsville in the town of Levis, where he attended school.
Mrs. Dahnert was born August 25, 1899, in the town of Grant. She attended the old Reed school and took a short course in Neillsville high school.
They are members of the Christian Science church of Neillsville and the Clark County Historical Society.
Those present from out-of-town included the daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Prindle and family of Alma Center, and the son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Dahnert and family of Richfield, Minn.; Mr. Dahnert’s brothers and wives, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dahnert of Los Angeles, Cal., and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dahnert of Madison; his sister, Mrs. Ethel Pedder and another sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Wilke of Los Angeles, Cal.; Mrs. Dahnert’s three brothers and wives, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Randall, Mr. and Mrs. George Randall and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Randall and Tom all of Fond du Lac; her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Snow of Beach, N.D., another sister, Mrs. William Waterworth of Sacramento, Cal., and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Violet Randall of Janesville.

A brother and sister-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dahnert, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dahnert (she was the former Hannah Turville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Turville of Neillsville), of Rialto, Cal., celebrated their golden wedding anniversary September 20 at the Turville home with a dinner at noon and open house from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. They were married September 20, 1919, in the Methodist parsonage by the Rev. Louis Coleman. Their attendants were Daniel Turville of Fairfield, Mont. And Mrs. Grace (Turville) Hein of Neillsville, Wis.
