Chubb, Anna (12 Sept. 1879 - 22 Aug. 1936)

Mrs. Clarence Chubb of Lynn passed away at her home Saturday, August 22, aged 56 years, 11 months and 10 days.

She has been in poor health for several years, from diabetes, but had been able to be about until a month before her death.

Anna Goeden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Goeden, was born at Arcadia, Wis., Sept. 12, 1879. She came to Clark County with her parents when a small girl, the family settling in Pine Valley.

She was married to Clarence Chubb, Jr., of Lynn, Jan. 1, 1902. They settled on there on a farm, which has been their home since.

Mrs. Chubb was a lady of many fine qualities. She was devoted to her home and family, but was ever ready to be of help to neighbors and friends and was dearly loved in the community because of this.

She is survived by her husband and two sons, Claude and Leland. She leaves also a brother, Henry Goeden, of Duluth.

Funeral services were held at Maple Works Lutheran Church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. A. Laesch officiating. The pallbearers were Louis Elmhorst, Charles Reisner, Ed. Ott, Louie Helm, Fred Capella and Fred Grudke.
