Pine Valley Mound

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Appleyard spent last weekend in Milwaukee. Mr. Appleyard’s sister Anna who had been visiting here returned to Milwaukee with them.

Quite a few from this vicinity attended the funeral of Carl Kessler Jr. Tuesday morning.

Dr. Rosekrans was called to the Alfred Carl home Saturday evening due to the illness of their daughter Nelda.

The calf club boys have been busy getting their calves ready for the fair.

Miss Hedwig Trachsel of Humbird spent Wednesday and Thursday with Mrs. Fred Timmler. She accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Fred Timmler to Greenwood Wednesday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Appleyard and family visited at the Arthur Thoma home Sunday.
