Voss, Edmund H. (3 DEC 1905 - 20 NOV 1975)

DORCHESTER, Clark Co., Wis. - Edmund H. Voss, 70, Route 1, Abbotsford, died at 2:20 p.m., Thursday in the emergency room of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield following an apparent heart attack.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Peace United Church of Christ in Dorchester, Wis. Officiating will be the Ev. Milton G. Petzold, pastor. Burial will following in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home in Dorchester after 4 p.m. Saturday.

Mr. Voss, a longtime farmer, was born Dec. 3, 1905, at Marshfield and received his education at the Colby Schools. He lived in Colby and also for a short time at Dodgeville before moving to a farm in rural Dorchester in 1923. In 1960, he moved to a farm in Marathon County. He retired in 1972, but continued to reside on the farm.

Mr. Voss married the former Mildred Ecke on Aug. 14, 1930, at Dorchester, Wis. She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Eddie Jr. and Lannie, both of Abbotsford, a daughter, Mrs. Norman (Bonnie) Quanite, Withee; a sister, Mrs. Ted (Mildred) Domer, Medford, and 11 grandchildren.
