E. Pleasant Ridge

Our sympathy goes out to Mr. and Mrs. Hoffman who lost their little girl Saturday afternoon.

Wm. Vine and family and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Vine, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Magnuson and children drove to the Schuster cottage near Hatfield Sunday and had a picnic dinner with the Suckow family and also fished.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Reimer of Milwaukee, and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Smith and family of Neillsville, Mr. Henry Becquect of Fairchild, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Gerhardt, Leone and Calvin and Mr. and Mrs. G. Kuehn and children were Sunday visitors at the Geo. West home.

Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Hughes and Sam Cook drove to Alma Center Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Wilson of York visited at the Hail home on Sunday.

Mrs. Elvah Howard had the misfortune to scald her arms and hands badly a week ago and is still bandaged up.

Mrs. Geo. Vine and Mrs. J. E. Hughes attended a quilting party Thursday at Mrs. Clarion Counsells.

Mr. and Mrs. Art Hubing are entertaining a baby boy who arrived on his mother’s birthday, October 20.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kurth spent Sunday at Alvin Grassmans in the town of Lynn.

The school program Friday evening at our school house was well attended and the program was enjoyed by all.

Annie and Jennie Drescher are visiting in the southwestern part of the state. Gerhardt Leichte is doing chores for them.

Mrs. Clifford Tifft accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Boss to Marshfield Saturday night.

Robert Hiles and family ate dinner with his mother, Mrs. Pauline Hill Sunday.
