Riedel, Gustav (29 Sept. 1865 - 30 Nov. 1936)

Gustav Riedel, an old old resident of Lynn, died at his home on Monday, Nov. 30. He had been in poor health since having a stroke about a year ago.

Mr. Riedel was born at Cedarburg, Wis., Sept. 29, 1865, and came to Clark County with his parents when he was 10 years of age, the family settling in the town of Lynn.

He was married there to Minnie Lemke, Feb. 14, 1894, and they have lived on the same farm for the past 44 years.

He is survived by two sons, Walter who lives in the town of Lynn, and Elmer at home; one grandson, a brother Herman, Lynn; a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Montag, Chili. A twin sister, Mrs. Thos. Donahue of Neillsville, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held t the home and at Mapleworks Lutheran Church Wednesday afternoon, Rev. A. Laesch officiating.
