Mr. and Mrs. James Higbee, 4715 Upland Drive, Rockford, Illinois, announce the engagement of their daughter, Sue, to Dale Zimmerman, 2944 E. Virginia Ave., West Covina, California, son of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Zimmerman, Loyal (Clark Co.), Wisconsin.

Miss Higbee graduated from Rockford High School and is a graduate of Long Beach College of Medical and Dental Assistants. She is employed in the office of Dr. Gerard McGrade of West Covina.

Her fiancé, a 1957 graduate of Loyal High School, also graduated in 1969 from North Central Technical Institute, Wausau, with an associate degree in mechanical design. He is employed as a Project Engineer at United States Filter Corporation of Whittier, California.

A May wedding is being planned.
