Lola Eloranta, 77, Owen, died Thursday, March 23, 2006, at her town of Green Grove residence. Visitation will be on Saturday, April 1, 2006, at the Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. The Rev. Bryan Anderson will officiate.

Lola Jean Winter was born on Dec. 31, 1928, in Granton, to Arno and Nina (nee Stroker) Winter. She was a graduate of Granton High School. She married George Eloranta on Oct. 29, 1949, in Granton. They farmed in the town of Green Grove.

Survivors include her husband; her children, Gary (Bev) Eloranta, River Falls, Wayne (Joan) Eloranta, Owen, Dennis Eloranta, Owen, Marlene (Ali) Nahavandi, Cottage Grove, Janet (Dick) Henning, Elk Mound, Rita (Tim) Kaine, New Richmond, and Sara (Dale) Kitlica, Owen; 21 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Lorraine Porath, Owen, and Ethel (Glen) Raplinger, DePere; and one brother, Richard (Cathy) Winter, Granton.
