Walter Fink

Colby - Walter Fink, 80, of Colby died early today at Colonial House of Colby Nursing Home.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby. The Rev. Mark G. Neumann will officiate. Burial will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Friday at Rux Funeral Home, Colby.

He was born Jan 10, 1905 in Colby, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis (Ida Wiegmann) Fink, and received his education in Colby area schools. On May 15, 1929 in Colby he married Lorinda Schulte. She died Jan 25, 1972.

He farmed in the Colby are for many years and also worked at Markus Feed Mill and Harmony Co-op, both in Colby and Wilderness Campers in Unity. He retired in 1972.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and it's Men's Club. He was an elder of the church and had served on its school board.

Surviving are two sons, Donald of Colby and Arnold of Denver; one daughter, Miss Donna Mae Fink of Stevens Point; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Louis (Mabel) Schultz of Colby and Mrs. Lucille Hass of West Bend.

He also was predeceased by a brother and sister.
