August Buchholz
Curtiss - Services have been set for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's American Lutheran Church here for August Buchholz, 91 of Curtiss, who died Saturday at the Clark County Hospital at Owen, Wis.
The Rev. Roger Tellock, pastor, will officiate at Tuesday's service and burial will follow in the Colby city cemetery.
Visitations may be made at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home in Owen after 3 p.m. today (Monday).
Mr. Buchholz was born in the town of Colby May 11, 1882, and lived and farmed at Holcombe from 1923 to 1941. He then came to Curtiss and operated a farm in the town of Hoard.
His marriage on May 30, 1906 at Colby was to the former Louisa Schulte, who preceded him in death Sept. 4, 1967.
For many years he had served as board member for the town of Hoard.
He is survived by two sons, Melvin Buchholz, Holcombe and Edgar Buchholz, Cornell; a daughter Mrs. Anita Dunow, Curtiss, two brothers, Charles and Art Buchholz, both of route 2, Owen; seven grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two daughters, two sisters and two brothers.
