Oldham, Arnold W. (October 3, 1905 - April 6, 1984)
Arnold W Oldham, age 77, of W9346 County Highway A, Town of Holway, died at 12:50 a.m. Friday, April 6, 1984, at Memorial Hospital of Taylor County in Medford, where he was a patient the past two days.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford, with the Rev. Samuel Robbins officiating, and burial will be in the Town of Levis Cemetery in Clark County. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Sunday evening at the Hemer Funeral Home and again Monday until the time of services.
Mr. Oldham was born October 3, 1905, in the Town of York, Clark County, to Alfred and Bessie (Savage) Oldham. He was educated in Park Falls and Neillsville schools. On September 28, 1928 he and Kathryn Potter were married in Honey Creek.
He had moved to Neillsville as a child living there 10 years, then moved to Park Falls. After a short time he returned to Neillsville, Wis. In 1924, he moved to Milwaukee living there 20 years, and in 1944, he moved to the Town of Holway to farm until his retirement in 1974.
Surviving is his wife, two sons Stuart and Michael both of the Town of Holway, and a brother, Harold of Neillsville, Wis.
