Kenowski, Michael "Mike" John (18 June 1962 - 22 April 2006)
Michael Kenowski, age 43, of Neillsville, died Saturday, April 22,2006 in the Emergency Room of the Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville, Wis.
Michael John Kenowski was born on June 18, 1962 in Milwaukee, the son of Donald and Virginia (Plunket) Kenowski. He attended and graduated from Amherst High School in 1980.After graduation he worked at a gravel pit and ran a dairy farm in the Stevens Point area. Mike was united in marriage to Darleen Sandstrom on Aug.18, 1984 at St. Peter's Church in Stevens Point. They moved to Neillsville in 1993, where they owned and operated a dairy farm. In 2000, they started operating a sand pit on the farm, selling to milking parlors.
Mike was a very kind hearted person who loved helping and mentoring children. He loved his horses and his hobbies were hunting,farming,paint balling,4-wheeling and archery. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Mike is survived by his wife, Darleen; his parents, Donald and Virginia Kenowski, of Port Edwards, WI; one brother, Doug (Kim) Kenowski, of Port Edwards; one sister, Nancy (Michael) Zblewski, of Stevens Point; and a very close dear friend, Eddie Schmid, of Neillsville, Wis. Mike is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruth Plunket.
A memorial Service for Mike will be held at 1p.m., Saturday, April 29, 2006 at the Neillsville Armory.
The Gesche Funeral Home is assisting Michael's family with funeral arrangements.
