Buker, Christopher John (19 JUL 1971 – 21 JUN 2019)

Christopher John Buker, 47, formerly of Greenwood and Wausau, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019, in Tampa, Fla., with his wife Heather, brother Ken, and son Jordan at his side.

He was born on July 19, 1971, in Neillsville, the son of Delores and Kenneth Ervin Buker. His immediate family included his brothers, Larry Neumann and Lonny Neumann, and his sister, Laura Jolin. Christopher’s creative interests included playing music with local bands. He also had a high interest in computer programming and web design. In recent years, he worked in office management at a campground in North Fork, Fla. Christopher married Heather Conley on April 4, 1992. They had two sons. Tyler works in construction in Wisconsin and Jordan works in landscaping in Florida. Christopher has three lovely grandchildren: Michael, Lincoln and Colin.

Christopher’s father, Kenneth Ervin Buker, died in 2010. His beloved grandmother, Tillie Stacy Buker, passed away in 2000. All are buried at the Stacy Family Cemetery, where Christopher’s ashes will be buried at a later date after a celebration of his life is completed this summer.

Christopher’s family greatly appreciates the past and present support given by the Ho-Chunk Nation to their family.
