Buker, Christopher John (19 JUL 1971 – 21 JUN 2019)
Christopher John Buker, 47, formerly of Greenwood and Wausau, passed away on
Friday, June 21, 2019, in Tampa, Fla., with his wife Heather, brother Ken, and
son Jordan at his side.
He was born on July 19, 1971, in Neillsville, the son of Delores and Kenneth
Ervin Buker. His immediate family included his brothers, Larry Neumann and Lonny
Neumann, and his sister, Laura Jolin. Christopher’s creative interests included
playing music with local bands. He also had a high interest in computer
programming and web design. In recent years, he worked in office management at a
campground in North Fork, Fla. Christopher married Heather Conley on April 4,
1992. They had two sons. Tyler works in construction in Wisconsin and Jordan
works in landscaping in Florida. Christopher has three lovely grandchildren:
Michael, Lincoln and Colin.
Christopher’s father, Kenneth Ervin Buker, died in 2010. His beloved
grandmother, Tillie Stacy Buker, passed away in 2000. All are buried at the
Stacy Family Cemetery, where Christopher’s ashes will be buried at a later date
after a celebration of his life is completed this summer.
Christopher’s family greatly appreciates the past and present support given by
the Ho-Chunk Nation to their family.
