Loyal – District Administrator Resigns (Jackson - 2019)
The Loyal School District Board of Education accepted the resignation of
district administrator Cale Jackson at a special meeting June 26.
Jackson has accepted a district administrator position for the Darlington School
District in the southern part of the state, which he will begin July 15.
Darlington is about half an hour east of Platteville just off the US 151
corridor between Madison and Dubuque, Iowa.
Jackson just completed his ninth year at Loyal. He started working at Loyal in
2010. He was high school principal for a year. After Graeme Williams retired, he
took over as district administrator.
“My family and I have really enjoyed our time since the first minute we got
here. Everyone was so welcoming,” said Jackson.
“[Our son] Reagan started 4K when we got here and now he’s in junior high, so
this has been the only school he’s been in. He’s had a good experience,” he
added.
“It was a tough decision to leave, but we had a good experience.”
The school board has not yet made a decision as to who will replace Jackson in
the district administrator role.
