Schuch, Carl Edward (March 15, 1947 - November 9, 2005)
Carl E Schuch, age 58, of Neillsville, passed away in his home, Tuesday, November 9, 2005.
Carl Edward Schuch was born on March 15, 1947 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Edward R and Dolores T. (LaMontagne) Schuch. He received his education at St. Joseph’s and Gateway Technical Institute. He enlisted into the United States Navy in 1965 and served in the Vietnam War until he was honorably discharged. He made his home in Kenosha, from 1955 to 1994, where he worked for AMC and later as the owner of his own Insurance Co., called Farmer’s Insurance. Carl was married and later divorced. He moved to Neillsville in 1994. He began working for Fleetguard Nelson Muffler, where he was currently employed. He was a member of St. Aquinas Church in Kenosha and a member of their men’s club. He was a member of the Lions Club in Kenosha and a member and treasurer of the Hatfield ATV Riders. Carl was also a lifetime member of the NRA and Wildlife Federation. Carl was an avid hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed being outdoors.
He is survived by his daughter, Christine of New York; and 10 brothers and sisters, Karen (Bino) Ammendola of Kenosha; Leo (Mary) Schuch of Kenosha; Sandra (Gary) Hardt of Racine; Mark (Elaine) Schuch of Etters, PA; Gerald (Robin) Schuch of Kenosha; Mary Schuch-Krebs of Kenosha; Margaret (Mark) Anderson of Kenosha; Barbara (Bob) Ehlen of Merrillan; Rita (Kevin) Soens of Kenosha; and Theresa (James) Woods of Kenosha; and 57 nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Dolores Schuch.
A Prayer Service for Carl was held Saturday, November 12, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, Wis. Fr. Woodrow H. Pace officiated.
The family sends a special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Marshfield Medical Center for their compassionate care of Carl.
