Wiedenhoeft, Goldie (28 JUN 1933)
A very pretty wedding took place at the rectory of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Colby Wednesday morning, June 28 th at ten o’clock when Miss Goldie Wiedenhoeft, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wiedenhoft of the town of Hall, became the wife of Bernard Walter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Walter, town of Beaver. Father I. L. Long officiated.
The bride wore a white satin dress trimmed in lace with a long veil of net and lace arranged cap effect. She carried a bouquet of roses, sweet peas and baby breath. She was attended by Sylvia Walter, sister of the groom, was attired in ----(unreadable) low crepe, and Miss Viola Walter, a cousin, who wore peach crepe. Both carried arm bouquets of roses and sweet peas. The groom was attended by Alvin Wiedenhoeft and Lawrence Walter.
The reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents where covers were laid for eighty guests at a noon dinner. In the evening a wedding dance was given at the Wiedenhoeft Park.
The young couple left immediately on a wedding trip to Chicago and other points. They will make their home in Marshfield where the groom is employed by the Baer ----? Company.
