Announcement in made of the marriage of Miss Violeta Orth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Orth of Colby, to Vern Luepke, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Lueble of this village. The ceremony was solemnized Tuesday morning at 7:30 o’clock by Father A. J. Aurit in St. Anthony’s Catholic church here.
The couple was attended by Miss Alice Orth, sister of the bride and Edward Davel.
The bride was attired in a gown of olive green satin with brown accessories and Miss Orth wore a brown crepe dress with matching accessories. They wore corsages of tea roses.
After the ceremony a breakfast was served to intimate relatives at the home of the bride’s parents at Colby, after which Mr. and Mrs. Luebke left for a honeymoon to the northern lakes. They will make their home here after September 1st.
The bride is a graduate of Colby, Wis. High school and for the past four years has been stenographer at Central Canning company.
