Miss Ethel Leatherdale, daughter of Mrs. M. K. Leatherdale was united in marriage to Mr. Albert Wicks, son of Mrs. Anna Wicks, town of Eaton, Wednesday morning, Sept. 27th, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Rev. A. J. Aurit officiating.
The bride was dressed in blue with hat to match and carried a bouquet of pink and white asters. Kathryn Davel, bridesmaid, was dressed in a figured yellow chiffon dress with hat to match, and carried a bouquet of orchid and white orchids.
The groom was attended by Gerald Leatherdale, brother of the bride.
A wedding breakfast was served at the bride’s home for immediate relatives. The table was prettily decorated in pink, orchid and blue streamers.
Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sook of Spencer, and Mrs. Anna Wicks and son Francis of Eaton.
The bride and groom left on a trip through northern Wisconsin. They will be at home Oct. 1st on a farm near Spokeville.
