County News
George Donaldson, principal of the Withee Schools, has resigned to accept a similar position at Elmwood.
Mrs. Elsie Johnson, Owen, died Jan. 18 at the age of 70 years.
Nikkoline Nielsen, Withee, died at her home, Jan. 24.
Mrs. Wilhelmina Theime, died Jan. 23 at the home of her son, Fred Thieme, Owen, Jan. 23, at the age of 85.
The Badger Theater, Colby, which has been operated by Fred Lakosky, has been sold to Fred Woskie of Minneapolis and William Woskie of Chicago.
Rev. John Novak, pastor of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church at Abbotsford and mission at Owen and Withee for several years, has been transferred to the Greenwood parish. Rev. C. D. Brady, James Parish, Wausau, has taken over the duties at Abbotsford, Wis.
