Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Grensing began the operation of the Home Motel in
Abbotsford, July 10.
They purchased the motel property from Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dauffenbach and also
the corner place, which Vern Hemphill formerly used as a welding shop. Mr.
Grensing plans to wreck or remove the building as soon as possible.
The Grensings moved her from Bruce, where he was employed by the highway
department. They are the parents of six children, Gary 13; Bonnie 12; Phyllis
10; David 8; Thomas 7; and Donna 3.
The Dauffenbachs have no definite plans for the immediate future and move to
Colby temporarily.
