Plautz, Mr./Mrs. Stephen (45th – 11 June 1975)
The 45th wedding anniversary was observed last Sunday afternoon at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Plautz and family at Greenwood of his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Stephen Plautz of Willard.
Alice Robey and Stephen Plautz were married on June 11,1930, in St. Paul, Mn.
It was sort of a get-together of relatives, with barbecued chicken and all the
trimmings. A decorated cake centered the table.
Present were: The Rev. Michael Mertens, pastor of Holy Family Catholic Church at
Willard; the Rev. Robert Houston pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church at
Greenwood; Eldon Robey of Stillwater, Mn.; Ferris Robey of Clayton, Mn.; Ernest
Robey of River Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Harland Gilbertson and son, Brian, all of
River Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Mauslof, Prescott; Mr. and Mrs. James Robey of
Plum City; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Robey of Ellsworth; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Plautz and
son of Hales Corners; Mr. Phil Plautz, Steve and Diane, of Hales Corners; Mr.
and Mrs. Floyd Plautz and family of Greenwood.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Plautz, Mrs. Catherine Plautz, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Lange and
Gail of Two Rivers; Mr. and Mrs. George Plautz and Gigi of Greenwood; Mr. and
Mrs. Noel Felix of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Albright, Mr. and Mrs. James
Albright, and Paul and Scott, all of Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pakiz and Patsy,
and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Pakiz of Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Weis and family
of Burlington; Mrs. Katherine Popovich of Greenwood.
Mrs. Jim Zallar, and Kevin, Robert Plautz, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Plautz and Colleen
and Edward Rowe of Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Plautz of Withee; and Terry
Plautz of Owen.
Their children made the party and got all the food in readiness. The honored
couple received a lot of gifts, which were opened and put on display.
