Sigle, Clara (Marriage - 19 April 1937)

John Durst formerly of the town of Hewett and Clara Sigle of Stuttgard, Germany, were united in marriage at Waukegan, Ill., April 19. The bride is a childhood acquaintance of the groom--- in fact a distant cousin.

They began housekeeping on their return to Neillsville in the home purchased last fall by Mr. Durst at the corner of Sixteenth and Pitcher Street.

Mr. Durst is one of Clark County’s most substantial citizens and his many friends gladly welcome his wife among us.

A party in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Durst was given Sunday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pollnow where about 25 of the friends in Hewett and vicinity and other from Neillsville attended. A fine supper was served and a most enjoyable social evening was spent.
