The Red Cross drive in Abbotsford met with the usual enthusiastic response. The
village has a quota of &75, but collected $213.80, according to a report by
Elmer Schraufnagel, local chairman.
Mrs. Jack Weideman was chairman of the soliciting. Thos who canvassed the town
were Arlyn Brunkhorst, Wayne Spencer, Walter Grambort, Malcolm Lamont, Elmer
Schraufnagel, Bernard Laabs, George Hoffman, Bill Kozlowski, Francis Sheer and
John Bremer, Jr. F. E. Wernzenski contacted the faculty members.
Appreciation for the thorough work done by the solicitors is extended to them
and to the people for their whole hearted response.
