Ugoretz, James W. "Jimmy" (19 DEC 1942 - 14 APR 2010)
James W. "Jimmy" Ugoretz, 67, Rib Mountain, passed away on Wednesday, April 14,
2010 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, surrounded by his family.
He was born December 19, 1942 in Marathon City, son of the late Jacob and
Beatrice (Bentz) Ugoretz. On December 7, 1963, he married Lois "Lucy" Hoeft at
St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Marathon. She Survives.
For many years, Jimmy worked for LignoTech, Rothschild until his retirement.
Among his many interests, he enjoyed taking long walks up Rib Mountain,
gardening and working on his lawn. Most of all, he loved spending time with his
family, especially his grandkids.
Survivors include, his wife, Lois "Lucy" Ugoretz, Rib Mountain; two children,
Troy (Tanya) Ugoretz, Shawano and Lisa Turzinski, Mosinee; five grandchildren,
Amber Husky, David Allender, Kassi Krahn, Faith Ugoretz and Kendra Ugoretz;
thirteen siblings, Robert (Judy) Ugoretz, Kronenwetter, Steven (Kathy) Ugoretz,
Pymouth, Jan (Kay) Ugoretz, Sheboygan, Thomas (Mary) Ugoretz, Edgar, Andrew
Ugoretz, Wisconsin, Anthony (Gretchen) Ugoretz, Neenah, William (Joani) Ugoretz,
New Jersey, Sharon (Charles) Bergs, Kronenwetter, Sandra (Mike) Cronk, Mosinee,
Sonja (Allen) Schulz, Wausau, David (Terri) Ugoretz, Rib Mountain, Leah (Todd)
Kostuck, Platteville and Mary (Jeff) Thurber, Schofield; one brother-in-law,
Kenneth Kropidlowski, Alaska; three sisters-in-law, Dawn (Mike) Cyzan, Stettin,
Doris (Kenny) Schmidt, Neenah and Susy Hoeft, Wausau; and many nieces, nephews,
relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Kropidlowski.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Rib Mountain
Lutheran Church, Rib Mountain. Rev. Thomas F. Hoelter will officiate. Burial
will be in Stettin Christian Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 10:00 a.m.
until time of services at the church.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau is in charge of
arrangements.
