Blaha, Charles (4 NOV 1910 – 27 JAN 1971)
Charles Blaha, age 60, Unity (Clark Co., Wis.), died Wednesday, January 27,
1971, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Funeral services were conducted in Cicero, Illinois, where the body was taken by
Polnaszek Funeral Home, Abbotsford.
Mr. Blaha was born November 4, 1910, in Chicago, the son of Ferdinand and
Theresa (Bosek) Blaha. His marriage to Vlasta Valenta took place March 29, 1947.
The Blahas moved to Unity in August of last year. Mr. Blaha worked in the
Chicago area as a machinist prior to moving to Wisconsin.
Surviving are his widow, two sons, James and Robert, and a daughter, Vlasta, all
at home; two sisters, Mrs. Roy (Ann) Kasang, Hillsdale, Illinois, and Mrs.
Edward (Alice) Plye, Berwyn, Illinois, and a brother, Fred Blaha, Winchester,
Illinois.
