Bleck, Daniel Lee “Curley” (9 NOV 1950 - 11 MAY 2019)
Daniel Lee “Curley” Bleck, 68, Phillips, died at his home on Saturday, May 11,
2019, while under the care of Flambeau Home Health and Hospice.
He was born on November 9, 1950, in Medford, Wisconsin, the son of Gerald and
Rose (Bartz) Bleck. He was a 1968 graduate of the Prentice High School. He
worked as a truck driver for many years, primarily for Granberg Brothers
Trucking. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his brother, Ribs,
fishing, hunting, car rides, and RVing.
He is survived by three sisters, Geraldine (John) Poncek, Westboro, Judy (Fred)
Heizler, Phillips, and Janice (Allan) Niemi.
He is preceded in death by his parents; by his life’s partner, Tammy Kelly, in
August of 2018; and by one brother, Allen Thomas “Ribs.”
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 1, at the Heindl
Funeral Home in Phillips with Pastor Glenn Sokolowski officiating. Friends may
call at the funeral home on Saturday, June 1, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of
services.
