Panek, Helen (November 12, 1920 - February 14, 2006)
Helen Panek, formally Helen Juzwiak, age 85, passed away on February 14, 2006 at
her home in Schaumburg, IL.
Helen was born November 12, 1920 to Walter and Florence Juzwiak and grew up in
Thorp, WI.
Family and friends wee received at Michael’s Funeral Home in Schaumburg, IL. A
funeral mass was held at St. Marcelline Church, Schaumburg, with interment at
Maryhill Cemetery, Niles, IL.
Helen’s greatest passion was spending time with her family. She was a life time
member of the Moose Lodge, where she participated in many hours of volunteer
work.
She is survived by her children Diane Pisarek, Schaumburg, IL; Paulette Brooks,
Laguna Miquel, CA; Allan Panek, Schaumburg, IL; one brother Frank Juzwiak,
Arlington Heights, IL; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces
and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Ed; sisters, Viola, Lottie, and
MaryAnn; brothers, Edmund, Malen, Raymond and Walter Juzwiak, Jr.; her parents
Florence and Walter Juzwiak; and son-in-law Ed Brooks.

At the risk of appearing a terrible nit-picker, Paulette lives in Laguna Nigel, California. It's a seacoast town between Oceanside and Irvine.
The only reason I know is that the widow of a 2nd cousin (Richard Zevnik, step-grandson of John Zallar) lives in Laguna Niel, and I have visited her.
