NHS – Scholarship Winners (Gary Lukes- Lori Smagacz - 1975)
Two of the major scholarship winners were Gary Lukes and Lori Smagacz of the NHS
graduating Class. Lukes received the $500 Nelson Muffler scholarship given to a
senior going on to college in Wisconsin; Lori Smagacz received the $250 Nelson
Muffler grant for a student intending to attend a two-year technical school.
Lukes also received one of 24 $1,000 scholarships given by the Laird Foundation.
