COLBY -- Casey Lee Blume 25, of Colby died Sunday, June 4, 2006, in Abbotsford, Wis.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby. The Rev. John Malik will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Colby. Pallbearers will be Alan Hamus, Andrew Hamus, Dave Hennes, John Block, Leon Downing and Keith Jecevicus
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford, and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church. Maurina/Community Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Casey was born Oct. 29, 1980, in Marshfield to Robert and Ruth (Kaiser) Blume. He was a graduate of Colby, Wis. High School. Casey was a meat manager at Kramer's County Market. He loved the Chicago Cubs, NASCAR, Dale Earnhart, playing softball, golfing and his friends. His special love was his family, especially his nieces and nephews, Chad and Sierra of Colby, Andy and Paige of Marshfield, Britney and Brooke of Colby, and Kaden and Michaela of Medford.
Casey is survived by his parents, Robert and Ruth Blume of Colby; his brothers and sisters, Todd (Jill) Blume of Colby, Sara Blume of Curtiss, Heather (Mark) Jeske of Colby, Jason (Lori Mueller) Blume of Colby and Travis (Melanie Konieczny) Blume of Medford.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Andrew and Amanda Kaiser; his paternal grandparents, Alfred and Enid Blume; and a niece, Shaina Blume.
