Rosolack, Ruth O. (Marriage - July 1937)
Miss Ruth O. Rosolack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Rosolack of Humbird was married to Dr. Ethan A. Peterson of Neillsville at 9 a.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian church in Eau Claire, the Rev. George Anderson performing the double ring ceremony.
The services were witnessed by a group of relatives and friends. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Attendants were Mrs. James Nelson, Fond du Lac, sister of the groom, and Richard Rosolack, the brother of the bride. "I Love You Truly" was sung by the Dorothy Anderson with Mrs. George Anderson accompanying at the piano. Miss Rosolack was attired in a suit of white congo with tea rose lace blouse and shoulder corsage of pink lilies and baby’s breath. Mrs. Nelson wore a white boucle dress and a shoulder corsage of pink roses.
Following the marriage of breakfast was served by Mr. and Mrs. William Rosolack to 15 guests at the Commercial hotel in Eau Claire after which Dr. and Mrs. Peterson left on a trip to Northern Wisconsin and will be at home in Neillsville after Aug. 1.
The bride is a popular young lady here, having been employed for the past year at the W. G. Woodward Store where she has made many friends. She is a graduate of the Humbird High School and the Normal School at Stevens Point. Dr. Peterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Peterson of Granton is a Marquette University, Milwaukee, and has been practicing his profession very successfully here for the past several years.
Guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Campbell, Fargo, N. D.; Mr. and Mrs. George Wolf, La Crosse; Mr. and Mrs. James Nelson, Fond du Lac; Dr. L. W. Peterson, Sun Prairie; Vernon Peterson, Granton; Alice Zimmerman, Humbird; Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Rosolack and daughter, all of Eau Claire, and Rev. and Mrs. George Anderson of Fostoria, Ohio.
