Mrs. Mary Pickett of Los Angeles, Calif., formerly a resident of Christie, who visited Mrs. Ada Weast July 26, died of a heart attack at Oconomowoc the following day. Mrs. Pickett, with her son, Edwin and Mrs. Palmer of Port Arthur, Texas, came east recently to attend the funeral of Mrs. Pickett’s brother, Harry Hatch at Spring Valley. Mrs. Pickett was the widow of Dr. Samuel Pickett, formerly of Unity and later a practicing physician at Bayfield, Wis. He was a cousin of Mrs. Weast’s husband.
