Schultz, Meta (Marriage - 11 Aug. 1937)

Miss Meta Schultz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schultz, town of Pine Valley, was married at 2:30 p.m. August 11 to August Nemitz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nemitz, also residents of Pine Valley. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. William Bauman at St. John’s Lutheran church before a large number of relatives and friends. Decorations were in gladioli and petunias.

The attendants were Miss Florence Miller of Neillsville, friend of the bride, and Louis Nemitz, brother of the bridegroom. Mrs. Emil Schmidt of Pine Valley played Lohengrin’s wedding march.

The bride wore an all lace dress with a train and tulle veil, cap effect with orange blossoms fastened to each side. Her bouquet was of pink roses, fern and achillea flowers. The bridesmaid wore a costume of peach taffeta with head band to match and a shoulder corsage of talisman roses and baby’s breath.

A wedding supper was served to 25 guests at the home of the bride. The dining room was decorated with peach and white crepe paper and flowers. A large wedding cake adorned the center of the table. The supper was prepared by Mrs. Otto and Miss Marian Dux served.

The bride and groom are both well known in this community and have the best wishes of their many friends for a long and happy married life. The bride is a graduate of the Neillsville High school, class of 1933. The couple will make their home at the Schultz farm.
