Reyzer, Gabrielle Mary (Marriage – 24 May 1975)
St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Lublin, was the setting Saturday, May 24, for
the wedding of Miss Gabrielle Mary Reyzer and Richard V. Yurkovich. Fr.
Casimer-Paul officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Walter Reyzer, Lublin, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Yurkovich, Rt. 1
Willard.
For her wedding, the bride chose a gown of bridal knit. Sculptured venise lace
bordered the scoop neckline and formed a flare cuff on the fitted sleeves. The
circular skirt swept into a chapel train. Lace enhanced her cascade veil of
sheer bridal illusion. She carried a bouquet of Eucharis lilies and stephanotis
as she was presented in marriage by her father.
Mrs. Dennis Sischo, Willard, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs.
Allen Noah of Greenwood, Miss Tammy Reyzer of Lublin, Mrs. Michael Burke of
Cadott and Mrs. David Ostness of Wausau. Their gowns of maize knit featured long
sleeves complimented by ruffle trim. White venise lace accented the turn-back
collar edged by a ruffle complimenting the V-neckline. Each carried a bouquet of
gladiola florets, pompons and daisies.
The groom was attended by Frank Bucar, Duluth, Mn., as bestman, and by Ed
Yurkovich of Willard, Pete Gwiazdon, Jr., of Osceola, Dennis Pakiz of Willard
and Tom Huiras of St. Paul, Mn., as groomsmen. Guests were seated by Tom Reyzer
of Lublin and Luke Yurkovich of Willard.
Scott Herrick of Willard and Lance Reyzer of Lublin served as altar boys.
Music at the wedding was by Miss Bonnie Meissner and Joe Possley.
A reception, dinner and dance were held at the Quonset Hall in Thorp.
The new Mrs. Yurkovich graduated in 1969 from Gilman High School and also
attended WSU-Medford for one year. Her husband, a 1965 Greenwood High School
graduate, leads his own orchestra.
Following their return from a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin, Michigan and
Cleveland, Oh., the newlyweds will live on Rt. 1 Willard.
