The band is touring the southern states during semester break, and will present concerts in various churches throughout the states of Minnesota, Missouri, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Iowa. Linda is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Haas. The tour began on February 25 and will return to St. Paul on March 7 for the resumption of classes on March 8.

Mr. and Mrs. Al Beyerl, accompanied by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Beyerl, drove to Beaver Dam Thursday to visit relatives there. On Saturday they stopped at Oshkosh to see Alice Beyerl, student at the state university at Oshkosh, and then returned to Colby that evening. Although severe winds made traveling a bit hazardous, the Beyerls didn't learn of the blizzard conditions until they got to Stevens Point. After a safe arrival to Colby, the Al Beyerls remained in town until Sunday evening, when roads were plowed past their farm home.
