Steinbach, Peter (14 MAY 1840 - 17 JUN 1914)
Peter Steinbach, one of the early pioneer settlers of Colby, Clark Co., Wis., died at the Soldier’s Home in Waupaca at 11:40 Wednesday forenoon, June 17th, 1914, aged 74 years, 1 month and 3 days. He leaves his widow, living at the Waupaca Home, his won William of Owen, Clark Co., and two daughters, Mrs. Anna Holden of the town of Holeton, and Mrs. Ada Shelley of Canada.
The remains were brought to this city by his won William, on the Wednesday evening train, and the funeral will be held from the M.E. Church, Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, under the auspices of the L.N. Earl Post, G.A.R.
