Kissinger, Harold E. (5 MAY 1912 - 19 FEB 1934)
Harold Ernest Kissinger, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Kissinger was born May 5, 1912 and was cut down by the grim reaper February 19, 1934. He attained the age if 21 years, 9 months, and 14 days. A brother Roland Philip preceded him in death in October 16, 1918 in the service of his country.
He leaves to mourn his passing his parents, one brother and three sisters, one grandparent and a host of relatives and friends. His brother and sisters are Mrs. Geneva Tice of Rockford, Ill., Mrs. Emily Genett of Marshfield; Alberta and Lawrence at home.
He attained his education in the rural school at Spokeville. He was a pleasant and well liked young man in his community and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Pallbearers were Edgar Verhalen, Thomas Fisher, James Gilbert, Albert Haslow, Gerhardt Lucht, and Arlie Davis.
The flowers were in charge of Misses Norma Fisher, Verna Wehling, Loiree Mathwig, Myra Verhalen, Elaine Lucht and Eunice Peterman and Eva Verkilen of Marshfield.
Funeral services were held from the Loyal M.E. Church Thursday afternoon at 1:45 the Rev. G. W. Zimmerman and Rev. Chapman officiating. Burial took place in the Loyal Cemetery at Loyal.
Those from away who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Tice of Rockford, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Robert Genett of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Peterman and family of Marshfield, Mr. Harold Nichols of Wausau, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bender of Colby, Mrs. Proctor and family of Owen and Mrs. Philip Kissinger Sr., of Owen, Wis.
