St. Anthony’s Catholic Church at Loyal was the scene of a pretty wedding Tuesday morning June 12th, when Miss Hilda Regina Stutte, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred A. Stutte of Loyal became the bride of Mr. Alexander P. Loos, som of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad J. Loos, of Loyal. The Nuptial High Mass at 8:30 was read by Father A. J. Aurit.

Large clusters of pink and white peonies in tall vases stood at either side of the candle lighted altar, and tall baskets of peonies and greens were stationed at the altar gates.

In the bridal party were the bridesmaids Miss Laura Stutte of Wausau, sister of the bride, Miss Viola Loos, the groom’s sister, and the best man, Reuben Loos, brother of the groom and Arthur Becker who served as groomsman.

The bride wore a soft yellow crepe gown, floor length, with a large white hat and carried an arm bouquet of yellow killarnary roses and orchid stokesia.

The bridesmaids, Miss Stutte wore an alice blue crepe gown, and Miss Loos wore a blossom pink crepe frock.. Both wore large white hats and carried old fashioned bouquets of white peonies and pink snapdragons, fashioned about with paper lace.

Before the mass "The Rosary" was sung by miss Leona Hubing, a cousin of the bride, who also sang "Ave Maria" at the offertory accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Hugo Stutte.

Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast and reception for the immediate families and a few relatives, was given at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred A. Stutte. The bride’s table had a charming center piece of Beveled mirror, a vase of roses stood on its polished surfaces, and bowls of flowers also decorated the other tables and the living room.

Out of town guests were Mrs. Anna Schnell of Kiel, Miss Emma Schnell of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Eisenhut, Mr. and Mrs. F. Hubing, Mrs. Charles Greiner and miss Leona Hubing of Athens, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Loos left for Minneapolis and Duluth. They will be at home to their friends after July 1st, at the groom’s farm, southeast of Loyal.
