Branish, Duane L. (23 Aug. 1960 - 17 June 2006)

GREENWOOD -- Duane L. Branish, 45, died on June 17, 2006, at his residence.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Missionary Baptist Church in Greenwood. Burial will take place at a later date in Wayside Cemetery in Barron.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Cuddie Funeral Home of Greenwood is helping the family with arrangements.

He was born on Aug. 23, 1960, in Rice Lake, the son of Thomas and Fern (Tessling) Branish. On Feb. 14, 1981, Duane and Dawn Denise Taber were united in marriage at the First Baptist Church in Barron. The couple moved to Rice Lake, and he drove a truck for Barr Animal Foods and Plautz-Pekol until becoming disabled.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn Branish of Greenwood; a daughter, Desiree Branish of Greenwood; his parents: Thomas and Fern Branish of Rice Lake; his brother, Dan (Sue) Branish of Rice Lake; a sister, Diane Wampfler of Rice Lake; and his mother-in-law, Ona (Mel) Taber-Crutz of Barron.
