Fasbender, Maranda M. (19 JAN 1847 - 4 JUL 1915)
Mrs. Maranda M. Fasbender died at her farm home on the Wausau road in the town of Hull, Marathon Co., Wis., on Sunday morning, July 4th, 1915, of heart disease, aged 68 years, 5 months and 15 days.
Deceased was born in Beloit, Wis., Jan. 19th, 1847. She was united in marriage on March 26th, 1865, to Hubert Adam Fasbender. With her husband and children she came to Colby in the year 1881 and settled on the farm where she died. Her husband died Oct. 17th, 1909.
She was highly respected by her neighbors and friends.
She is survived by seven children, the sons and daughters are: Mrs. Mary Brennen of Westwood, Calif.; Alfred of Sundance, Wyo.; Emil at home: Mrs. Hattie Tarr of Fifield; Mrs. Cretie Buettner of Stratford, and Corvin of Mapleton, N.D., all of who were here to attend the funeral except Mary and Alfred.
The funeral was held from the residence Wednesday afternoon, Rev. R.R. Braddick officiating. Interment took place in Colby Cemetery.
