Albert Lincoln
NEILLSVILLE -- Albert C. Lincoln, 94, of Neillsville, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at the Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville, Wis.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2006 at the Living Hope Evangelical Free Church in Neillsville, Wis. Interment will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Gesche Funeral Home, and from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.
Albert Charles Lincoln was born Sept. 11, 1911, in Harvard, Ill., the son of Earl and Mary (Strandt) Lincoln.
He worked with his brother Glen in a portable feed mill business and then farmed for several years in McHenry County, Ill.
He was married to Violet Felgenhauer on April 25, 1936.
The couple purchased a farm in the town of Washburn, moving there in November 1948. He also worked at Rollohome in Marshfield from 1952 until his retirement in 1976. He continued to farm until 1982.
He is survived by his children, Charles Lincoln of Moses Lake, Wash., Jean Lincoln of Hopkins, Minn., Loraine Lincoln of Minneapolis, Minn., Gerald (Kathy) Lincoln of Mount Joy, Pa., Norma Lincoln (L.C. Allen) of Hopkins, Minn.; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
