Jordan, Margaret (19 MAY 1914)
A pretty wedding took place at St. Mary’s Church on Tuesday morning, May 19th, 1914, at nine o’clock, when Miss Margaret Jordan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Jordan of this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), and John Schommer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Schommer of the town of Hull (Marathon Co.), were united in marriage by Rev. H.J. Artmann. The young couple were attended by the Misses Anna Jordan and Anna Schommer, and Lambert Schommer and Frank Jordan, sisters and brothers of the bride and groom.
A wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents to relatives and a few intimate friends.
The newly wedded pair left on the afternoon train for a wedding tour to Glidden and Mellen, to visit the bride’s brothers, other relatives and friends, and upon their return will reside for the present, on the Schommer farm in the town of Hull. The Phonograph joins their many friends in best wishes for their future happiness and prosperity.
