Stieber, Jeanne Ann (6 MAR 1971)
Jeanne Ann Stieber, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Stieber of Friendship,
formerly of Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Robert Batten of
Marshfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Batten, Abbotsford.
The wedding took place at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 1971, at St. Joseph's
Catholic Church, Adams, with the Rev. Emmett Faber officiating.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a chapel entrained gown of
satin and lace and full length veil of nylon illusion and Venice lace. Her
flowers were white carnations and purple statice.
Maid of honor was Miss Janice Stieber, Friendship, and bridesmaids were Miss
Krsitin Faulks, Stratford, and Miss Linda Stormoen, Friendship.
Lloyd Redington, Warren, Illinois, served the groom as best man. The groomsmen
were Bill Batten, Wausau and Robert Syth, Madison. Leslie Batten, Abbotsford,
and Daniel Stieber, Friendship, were ushers.
Mr. and Mrs. Batten served the rehearsal dinner in the Stieber home Friday
evening. The wedding reception was held at Mound View Country Club, with 150
guests in attendance.
The new couple is making their first home in Marshfield.
