Steinwand, Anna T. (19 SEP 1867 - 30 OCT 1915)

Miss Anna Steinwand, daughter of Mrs. A. Steinwand, died at the home of her mother in the town of Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), at 1 o’clock a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30th, 1915, of pulmonary tuberculosis, after an illness of over two years, aged 48 years, 1 month and ten days.

Anna Theresa Steinwand was born at Schoolhill, Manitowoc Co., Wis., Sept. 19th, 1867. She came to the town of Colby with her parents in 1876, and has ever since made her home on the parental farm. She was a quiet lovable lady and most highly esteemed by all who knew her, and her memory will still live in the hearts of those who knew her best. She leaves to mourn her death, her aged mother and four brothers, Joseph F., Ambrose, George and Theodore.

The funeral services were held from St. Mary’s Church, Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock, Rev. H.J. Artmann officiating. Burial took place in the Catholic Cemetery.
