Toby, Francis (18 MAY 1843 - 23 JAN 1916)

Died, at his home in Unity, Wis., Sunday, Jan. 23, 1916, Mr. Francis Toby, aged 72 years, 8 months and 5 days.

Mr. Toby was born at Quebec, Canada, where he was reared and educated. He came to Unity thirty-four years ago and has made his home in that community ever since, remaining on a small farm until last summer, when he retired from active duty. He was married to Miss Crotida Allain, who still survive him. Besides his wife he leaves to mourn his loss, one daughter, Mrs. Dave Hebert, and a sister. The funeral was held from St. Mary’s Church in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.) last Wednesday, Rev. H.J. Artmann officiating. The remains were laid to rest in Colby Cemetery.
