Langjahr, Emilie A. (13 APR 1867 - 19 FEB 1916)
Died, at her home in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), Saturday afternoon, Feb. 19th, 1916, Mrs. Emilie Langjahr, wife of Otto M. Langjahr, aged 49 years, 10 months and 6 days.
Mrs. Langjahr has been an invalid for the past three years but it was only the last three weeks that she has been confined to her bed.
Emilie A. Lueloff was born in the town of Schleswig, Manitowoc Co., where she lived with a parents for a number of years.
In 1893 she was united in marriage to Otto M. Langjahr at Kiel, where they lived until 1899, when they came to Colby, which has been their home ever since.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband and four sons, Oliver, Elmer, Arvin and Otis, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. G. Lueloff, all of this city, four brothers, Fred of this city, Herman of Brillion, Ed of Kiel and August of Jackson, and one sister, Mrs. John Keenan of Mellen.
The funeral was held at St. John’s Evangelical Church, Wednesday afternoon, Rev. M. Peper officiating.
Those from out of town who were here to attend the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Herman Lueloff of Brillion; Ed Lueloff, Kiel; Aug. Lueloff, Jackson; Mr. and Mrs. John Keenan, Mellen, and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Langjahr, Plymouth.
