Meacham, Norma (1 AUG 1934)
The marriage of Miss Norma Meacham and Mr. Christian Oestreich was solemnized Wednesday, August 1st at 2:30 P. M. at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Meacham.
A beautiful selection was played on the piano as the bridal party came down the stairs and entered the prettily decorated living room where the ceremony was performed by Rev. C. Paul Nulton of Colby.
The bride wore an ankle length dress of white crepe and with white accessories and carried a bouquet of snapdragons, baby breath and asparagus fern.
Miss Birdine, her sister, was bridesmaid and wore a dress of white flat crepe and white accessories.
The groom wore a midnight blue suit and his attendant, Mr. Glenn Oestreich wore brown.
Soon after the ceremony the bridal party went to Marshfield to have photographs taken and returned to have supper with about fifty relatives and friends.
The young couple left the next day for a trip to Rhinelander, Birnamwood and the lakes and will be at home to friends after August 7th.
